    About the Role

    As Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our platform, ensuring it delivers game-changing insights to pet parents and carers worldwide. You’ll work closely with the CTO, product teams, and other engineers to build scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development of our web and mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies.

    • Collaborate with the CTO to define and execute the technology roadmap.

    • Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions across our tech stack.

    • Mentor and inspire a growing team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

    • Drive best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps to ensure quality and reliability.

    • Contribute to strategic decisions, balancing user needs with technical priorities.

    • Languages: TypeScript

    • Frameworks: Next.js for Web Apps, React Native for Mobile

    • Front-End UI: Tailwind CSS & NativeWind

    • Hosting: Google Cloud & Vercel

    • Database: Google Firestore

    Who You Are

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with expertise in TypeScript, React, and/or React Native.

    • Has a strong track record of building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.

    • Thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment and embraces an iterative approach to problem-solving.

    • Demonstrates excellent leadership and mentorship skills to inspire a team of developers.

    • Is passionate about animals and excited to deliver technology that strengthens the human-animal bond.

    • Shares our commitment to collaboration, candour, and having fun in everything you do.
